And the second teamwork challenge is now officially over.  The submissions are here.  People didn't get as far as I'd hoped.  I probably made the challenge have too many pages for a month (it was 7 to 10).  Communicating was kind of difficult for people in general and made things a bit slower too.  I learned a lot from this challenge as an organizer and future challenges will be better.

So there's this month long teamwork exercise I'm organizing on my favorite Christian manga forum of all time:

This is the second challenge I've organized.  I'm definitely learning a few interesting things this time around.  Being motivated to draw a comic has always been a challenge, but having a team depending on you makes a real difference.  I know how to draw and ink, but this is really the first time I've tried certain things.  In principle the tasks are simple enough, but I'm using this magical program called Manga Studio.  Using it is kind of like learning to play an instrument - experts can make it look really easy, but you'll break a few fingers before getting there.  However, after smashing some keyboards out of frustration I think I'm starting to get the hang of paneling and typesetting.  Next task is to start toning (oh joy).  D:

So I finally got my own blog.  We'll see how well this bad boy works out.  I'm going to try to style it and integrate it into my website.
