I've been doing some research into good game engines with my friend Zero lately. I've also been thinking for the longest time about finding a way to make some extra income with my talents. I'm both a programmer and an artist and making the two work together and finding time for the things I like around work has been kinda hard. (7 years into my web development career hasn't involved any art which has always been kinda depressing)
In our research we came across the unreal development kit. From the engines we've looked at, this one is the most user friendly and most versatile. I'm starting to think that going into games is probably the best way to achieve most of my goals and use all my abilities.
I've been thinking of various game concepts i can start working on, and I've come up with a concept I can work on that will be somewhat easy to make. This will also allow me to learn more things faster since I won't focus on too many small details. That said, here is the protagonist of my new concept...
and a short video...
